This segment of Home Ideas 2018 takes you into two homes that showcase luxurious Cambria quartz countertops – one is remodel, the other a new home construction project.
Let’s take a sneak peek at the remodel first. This home has medium oak cabinets with laminate countertops. The homeowner wanted to give her kitchen a fresh look. She visited our showroom to get some ideas and fell in love with some of our Cambria displays, especially Ellesmere. She took a sample home to look at it in her kitchen environment – the lighting, her paint color and cabinet color. After seeing the sample in her kitchen she was sold. Cambria Ellesmere is winding and mysterious; it features large white crystal veins in a dark black background with black and silver flecks, and movements of rust, beige, and deep brown green. It’s truly the perfect Cambria design with her cabinet color. The homeowner selected a beautiful 4×6″ glossy gray subway tile to accent her Ellesmere. The kitchen is a stunning transformation.
Our new home construction project is amazing. The homeowner is in the construction business and was fully aware of the Cambria product. With three young children they wanted a product that was durable and maintenance-free. When they came to our showroom they were looking for a design that was bold, timeless, and exciting. This kitchen has a very large island with an open floor plan so they selected Cambria Brittanicca for the entire home including the kitchen, wet bar, master bath and guest bath. They selected a 3×6″ black glossy subway tile for the perimeter full height backsplash. The Cambria Brittanicca offers a creamy marbled background of neutral white that provides a stage of gray peaks and valleys that meander among intertwining veins dotted with veiled charcoal speckles. Paired with the black backsplash creates a very bold look.
